Heather and Alan are getting married very soon, and so we met up at Chatelherault Park near Hamilton recently one evening to do their Engagement Shoot. They brought along their 13 year old daughter Hannah, and the challenge was to include her in some of the shots. So it was part Engagement session, part family shoot.

The light on the night was pretty good, with the sun jumping in and out of clouds, just to make it that little bit harder for me to expose everything just right, as well as capturing all the intimate moments that were happening.

There are so many that I just totally love, but I’m limiting the Blog to just a few to give you an idea … James Solly Photography

I decided it was time to get Hannah to star in a shot all of her own … and with just a little tuition, didn’t she do well !!

as we were leaving for the night, I grabbed this one … okay so it doesn’t just quite match the signs, but almost !! James Solly Photography

Heather, Alan and certainly not least Hannah, that was a fun evening shoot !

I said it on the night, and even now, I still think Hannah stole the show, but Mum and Dad certainly gave her a run for her money !!

There are lots more on the “Client Zone” in the main website, so use your password, and let me know your thoughts. Looking forward to the wedding guys !!

Well, as a follow-up to their Engagement Session, I thought it was time to Blog about Dawn and Steven’s Wedding.

They got married at their local Church in East Kilbride, and then it was off to Houstoun House near Livingston.

The weather on the day was snowy, in fact, even more snowy than on their E-Shoot !

Steven getting the finishing touches from Mum

The girls at Dawn’s place all getting ready ..

It’s “all hands on deck” for the dress to be done up James Solly Photography

Loved this shot of dawn’s dress and shoes

The men ..

The local Church was fantastic inside James Solly Photography

Dawn had a send off from the local Girls Brigade, as she does work with them .. how cute !

Loved this shot from inside the car before we set off … James Solly Photography

The car they had was stunning, and in the snow, this could easily have been a scene from 1948 … James Solly Photography

Remember what I was saying about the weather .. Brrrrrrrrr James Solly Photography

The snow does make for some nice shots though, even although it was –6 degrees ..James Solly Photography

Just another fun few shots in the freezing temperatures  .. we went in after these ones

This was just that little bit different I thought …James Solly Photography

At work Dawn is a “tree hugger”, and Steven is a “bird man” ..  as you can see by the fantastic cake

A fun shot later into the night …. Charlie’s angels style !!

A cute moment during the first dance .. James Solly Photography

Dawn and Steven, it was extremely cold on the day, but we still had a lot of fun. I know we all had a great time in the snow, both at the E-Shoot and the Wedding.   Let me wish you both all the very best, together, forever.

Fiona and Charlie are getting married at The Three Kings near Falkirk soon, so we decided to go to Dollar Park in Falkirk to do a few shots on the Engagement Session.
