Some of you may remember Mary and Alistair, as I Blogged about their Engagement Shoot fairly recently. Well, The big day eventually came for them. They got married at St David’s Church in the small village of Plains, and then it was onto the Tudor Hotel in Airdrie.
The weather on the day was fantastic, okay, well maybe a little too hot for us people that aren’t used to heat like that, but apart from that it was a great day. Here are just a few shots from the day to give you an idea.
Alistair getting ready, with Mum sorting the buttonhole and Dad watching closely
Mary just getting the finishing touches done
The Bridesmaids !!
The guys waiting at the Church
Bride and Dad arriving at the Church
It’s time for Dad to let his daughter go …

The Kiss just before exiting the Church
Just one a a number of images we captured after we went back into the Church for a quick Bridal session
Yes, I’ve shot this scene in the past, but never has the light been as defined as it was on this occasion .. Wow !
A funny moment while we were doing the group shots ![]()
I know, but I just had to ![]()
One of my “alternate” group shots – what can I say … it works !

Mary and Alistair, what a great day we had … and I’m looking forward to designing your set of albums .. J-Sol
